My next guest is going to talk with us about running a green business, the potential of marketing Ithaca as a destination for eco-tourism, and his experiences as part of the Sustainable Enterprise Network.  Scott Wiggins is the owner of La Tourelle Resort & Spa, a beautiful hotel located on route 96 south of Ithaca.  In his four years since assuming control of the business, Scott has been hard at work reducing the footprint of his hotel, implementing energy and waste-saving measures, and proudly serving only local beers and wines.  His efforts have since earned La Tourelle recognition as a New York State Certified Green Hotel, the only hotel in all of Tompkins County to have achieved this certification.  Let’s listen in as Scott and I sit down to chat over a glass of Finger Lakes wine…
