CRT (Compost, Recycling, Trash) volunteers
At local Ithaca festivals, CRT (Compost, Recycling, Trash) volunteers help educate their fellow citizens about the proper ways to dispose of waste when all three receptacles (CRT) are offered. Due to the completely volunteer CRT crews’ efforts at this year’s Ithaca Festival, the total amount of trash was reduced by 73%.
