The Cayuga Sustainability Council was organized by Sustainable Tompkins to provide an ongoing venue for local nonprofits and citizens’ groups to update each other on local sustainability initiatives, and discuss issues related to the search for sustainability and social justice. Membership is open to any group interested in collaborating on these themes. The Council meets quarterly under the guidance of a rotating leadership team.
